The Cali Fair, the city's most emblematic event, dresses up to welcome classical music in the corregimientos. For six days, from December 25 to 30, the sounds of violins, cellos, and pianos will resonate in traditional spaces, creating a unique atmosphere that blends the elegance of academic music with the warmth of our communities. This year, the program includes outdoor concerts in squares and parks, featuring local orchestras and outstanding soloists. Each performance is designed to be accessible to all audiences, from children to seniors, reaffirming that culture is a right for everyone.
The festive atmosphere is palpable in every corner: entire families gather with blankets and folding chairs, enjoying picnics while musical notes fill the air. The artists, dressed in formal attire, interact with the audience, explaining the pieces and sharing anecdotes. The program ranges from Baroque masterpieces to contemporary compositions by Colombian authors.
